Job Summary
Your mission is to design digital interfaces for Pulse Creative’s clients that are clear, intuitive, and built to convert. At Pulse Creative, UI/UX design is not about beautiful screens — it is about creating experiences that guide users toward a specific action and remove every possible point of friction between arrival and conversion.
You will be responsible for user research, wireframing, prototyping, and delivering production-ready UI designs for client websites and digital products. If you believe great design is invisible and that every decision should be justified by user behaviour, this role is for you.
Your Role
UI/UX Designer
As a UI/UX Designer at Pulse Creative, you will lead the design process for client website projects and digital product interfaces from initial wireframes through to final, production-ready UI files. You will work closely with the WordPress Developer and Account Manager to ensure that the design vision is implemented accurately and that the final product meets both the client’s business goals and the user’s expectations.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of UI/UX work for commercial websites or digital products, is proficient in Figma, understands conversion-focused design principles, and can communicate design decisions clearly to both clients and developers.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio of commercial website and digital product work.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.
- Strong understanding of conversion-focused design, user flows, and information architecture.
- Experience designing for WordPress-based websites and familiarity with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into clear design decisions.
- Strong communication skills to present and justify design decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Fully available and not engaged in conflicting full-time commitments.
What You'll Do
- Lead the UX process for client website projects including user research, sitemap planning, wireframing, and user flow mapping.
- Design high-fidelity UI screens in Figma that are visually polished, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused.
- Create interactive prototypes to present design concepts to clients and gather feedback before development begins.
- Produce detailed design handoff files with clear specifications for the development team.
- Collaborate with the WordPress Developer throughout the build phase to ensure accurate implementation of the design.
- Conduct usability reviews of live websites and provide recommendations for conversion rate improvements.
Don't Apply If
- Your portfolio contains only visual design work with no evidence of UX thinking, user flows, or wireframing.
- You are not proficient in Figma — this is the primary design tool used across all projects.
- You design for aesthetics only without considering user behaviour, conversion, and business objectives.
- You cannot communicate design decisions clearly or defend your choices under client or stakeholder scrutiny.
- You are not comfortable working closely with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
