Job Summary
Your mission is to build and manage email marketing systems for Pulse Creative’s clients that nurture leads, retain customers, and drive consistent revenue on autopilot. At Pulse Creative, email marketing is not about sending newsletters — it is about building automated systems that follow up with every lead at the right moment with the right message until they are ready to buy.
You will be responsible for strategy, copywriting, automation setup, list management, and performance optimisation across email marketing platforms for multiple clients. If you understand the full lifecycle of a subscriber and how to turn a cold list into a revenue channel, this role is for you.
Your Role
Email Marketing Specialist
As an Email Marketing Specialist at Pulse Creative, you will manage the end-to-end email marketing function for multiple client accounts — from initial strategy and automation architecture through to copywriting, design briefing, list segmentation, A/B testing, and monthly performance reporting.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building email automations and campaigns that deliver measurable results, is proficient in major email marketing platforms, understands deliverability and list hygiene, and can write compelling email copy or brief a copywriter effectively.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of email marketing experience with a proven track record of open rates, click rates, and revenue attribution.
- Proficiency in at least one major email marketing platform such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of email automation, segmentation, lead scoring, and lifecycle marketing.
- Ability to write clear, compelling email copy or brief a copywriter with sufficient direction.
- Understanding of email deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance requirements.
- Experience setting up and optimising automated flows including welcome sequences, abandoned cart, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Fully available and not engaged in conflicting full-time commitments.
What You'll Do
- Develop email marketing strategies for client accounts including automation architecture, segmentation logic, and campaign calendars.
- Build and configure email automation flows including welcome sequences, nurture flows, promotional campaigns, and re-engagement series.
- Write or brief compelling email copy that is on-brand, clear, and optimised for opens, clicks, and conversions.
- Manage subscriber lists including segmentation, tagging, cleaning, and compliance with email marketing regulations.
- Set up and run A/B tests on subject lines, send times, content formats, and CTAs to continuously improve performance.
- Produce monthly performance reports covering open rates, click rates, revenue attribution, and list health metrics.
Don't Apply If
- You have only sent broadcast newsletters and have no experience building automated email flows or lifecycle sequences.
- You cannot demonstrate measurable results from past email marketing work with real performance data.
- You are not proficient in any major email marketing platform — platform experience is a core requirement.
- You do not understand email deliverability or list hygiene and treat all subscribers the same regardless of behaviour.
- You cannot manage multiple client email accounts simultaneously without losing track of strategy or performance.
